My IKEA Redesign Site

Here is what I've been up to lately. I was assigned to redesign IKEA Malaysia's website and here is the comparison. First let me show you the current IKEA Malaysia site.

IKEA orginal Site

The original Malaysia site is lack of many information and it can't really serve it's main objective to customers. A company so famous in the world, should also be famous in Malaysia. That is why I came out with the world's most trusting advertising solution, a good website.

So, here is my re-designed version of IKEA site below: Ta-da!!!

My site is not a complete site yet. Here is the link: Click Here But it has at least 8 working pages inside. The concept of my new IKEA site is Family and Happiness. Users may also find greetings along many pages which shows courtesy and friendliness. IKEA's coporate colours are mostly used and the yellow dominates it all which is in conjunction with my concept of happiness too. Rounded corners can be found in the site which shows that IKEA mends sharp edges and to give users the best service they can provide. Only the main page has Flash buttons, so, you can still surf this site, even though you're using an older version of Flash, or you don't have Flash player.

I will list down the working pages, so that you are able to surf in it easier. Here you go:

That's all for today. Bye

Any comments about the site is always welcome.
