Finally! It's Done!!!

The "和谐 He Xie" short animation project is finally completed. It was a long 2 months where we started all from scratch to the end result. Everyone did great in their delegated role. We've put in a lot of sweat and effort to meet the deadline and also maintain the quality. In this animation, we wanted to bring our rich Malaysian culture and share it with the world. Therefore, create a new identity for everyone to cherish and appreciate. That is why the setting was set in Malaysia. We went through many rounds of brainstorming, sketches, rejections, meetings, unexpected errors, troubleshooting, technical difficulties and more. It was really hectic especially when some weird errors keep popping out during the end of the production. Everyday was a long day for 2 whole months. Well, everything was worth it. We learnt a lot during the production and come to realize how important team work always is.

The story was written by this great man called Ven. Master Hsing Yun (星云大师). He wanted to bring harmony to all families this Chinese New Year, therefore this animation was created and one of the ways to convey his simple but Great message across. "He Xie" means Harmony in mandarin. To be peaceful, wealthy and success, one shall require harmony. The whole concept is just as simple yet so powerful.

This calligraphy "威德福海" Awe-inspiring Virtue and Ocean of Prosperity was written by Ven. Master Hsing Yun himself. He said due to the coming Lunar New Year which is also the Tiger Year, one must be as proud as tiger, with moral values that is as rich and big as the ocean. This phrase may also be seen in many shops and homes in Malaysia, and in the animation itself.

Now, not only do we have the main short animation, we also have a website, a facebook fan page, greeting cards and lots of your support, which we appreciate the most.The greeting cards are available when you donate at least RM5 to the Haiti Quake Relief Fund.
